KPK probes ATG procurement in Pertamina petrol station digitalisation project
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is delving into the procurement of an automatic tank gauge (ATG) fuel volume monitoring system in the digitalisation project of PT Pertamina (Persero) petrol stations. KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the anti-corruption body examined Business Development staff from PT Sempurna Global Pertama, identified by the initials LJ, as a witness in the alleged corruption case on Wednesday (17/6) to investigate the matter. “Investigators examined the witness to deepen information related to the purchase of ATG in the petrol station digitalisation project,” Budi told journalists in Jakarta on Thursday. According to him, the ATG procurement is one of the aspects being investigated by the KPK, alongside the procurement of electronic data capture (EDC) machines. The KPK previously revealed that it had commenced an investigation into the alleged corruption case of the petrol station digitalisation project at PT Pertamina (Persero) for the 2018–2023 period since September 2024. A number of witnesses have since been summoned starting from 20 January 2025 to investigate the case. The KPK has also named three individuals as suspects, although their identities have not yet been fully disclosed to the public. On 28 August 2025, the KPK stated that the investigation had entered its final stage and that it was calculating state financial losses together with the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK). Subsequently, on 6 October 2025, the KPK disclosed that one of the suspects in the petrol station digitalisation case is also a suspect in the alleged corruption case involving the procurement of EDC machines at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) for the 2020–2024 period, namely Elvizar. Elvizar is known to have served as Director of PT Pasifik Cipta Solusi during the petrol station digitalisation project and as the president director of the same company in the EDC procurement case. Based on gathered information, the other two suspects are a former Telkom director with the initials DR and a former Telkom employee with the initials WR.
