KPK Prepares Four Main Anti-Corruption Campaign Programmes for 2026
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), through its Directorate of Anti-Corruption Socialisation and Campaigns, is preparing four main anti-corruption campaign programmes for 2026. These four main programmes consist of Jelajah Negeri Bangun Antikorupsi (JNBA), Anti-Corruption Film Festival (ACFFEST) 2026, the BenarBenar Programme, and Pariwara Antikorupsi 2026. “These four programmes will run in parallel, targeting various societal groups, and instilling the message ‘habituate what is right, do not justify what is habitual’,” said KPK’s Director of Anti-Corruption Socialisation and Campaigns, Amir Arief, in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Saturday. Amir further explained that the JNBA programme will target 15 regencies/cities in West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara, featuring concepts such as night markets or creating the warmth of public spaces to enable learning without barriers. “KPK is shedding formal bureaucratic attributes and replacing them with open dialogue spaces in city squares,” he said. He also stated that JNBA will address sensitive issues such as illegal gold mining through seminars. For ACFFEST 2026, he explained that the programme, entering its 12th year, will feature film competitions in various categories, such as short film story ideas, fictional short films, student short films (for junior and senior high schools), vertical short films from ministries/institutions, and a western regional competition highlighting natural resource issues. In addition to competitions, he said KPK will hold screenings and discussions of anti-corruption films in 12 provinces. As for BenarBenar, he described it as a musical theatre themed on integrity and a stand-up comedy competition titled “Operasi Tangkap Tawa”. “From a bureaucratic perspective, KPK does not leave local governments to operate alone. Through Pariwara Antikorupsi 2026, KPK, together with local governments, will produce campaigns related to preventing illegal levies, bribes, and misuse of official facilities,” he clarified. Moreover, he stated that these programmes are not limited to KPK’s work agenda but are invitations to move together in eradicating corruption. “Through JNBA, KPK is present amid the community. Through ACFFEST, KPK speaks through stories. Through BenarBenar, KPK inspires the younger generation. Through Pariwara, KPK strengthens the frontline of public servants,” he said.
