KPK Permits Family Visits to Detention Facility During Idul Adha, Schedule Announced

“Currently, of the 62 detainees at KPK’s detention facility in the Red and White Building and C1 Building, 52 are Muslim and will participate in this religious observance,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Tuesday (26 May 2026).

The KPK has opened family visitation for the Idul Adha celebration. Families can visit the KPK detention facility from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM WIB.

“For family and relative visits for detainees, it is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, from 10.00 to 13.00 WIB,” he added.

Budi stated that the facility is provided to fulfil the detainees’ rights. Detainees can still perform their religious duties while adhering to established regulations.

“The Muslim detainees will perform the Idul Adha prayer at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque in the KPK Red and White Building,” he said.

Idul Adha falls on 27 May 2026, as determined by the government during the sidang isbat on Sunday (17 May).
