KPK Names Five Suspects in BPK Audit Bribery Case

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has updated earlier information and announced it has named five suspects in a suspected bribery case related to conditioning the Supreme Audit Agency’s (BPK) audit findings on the Muara Enim Regency Government, South Sumatra, for the 2025 fiscal year. “Yes, there are five, not four. Only two have been detained,” said Acting Director of Investigations at the KPK Achmad Taufik Husein at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Thursday (11/6). Taufik explained the five suspects are inactive Muara Enim Regent Edison (EDS), marketing employee of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Cory Erin Hardi (CRH), private party Augusz Dewanggara (AGG), Head of the Audit Team for the BPK Representative of South Sumatra Titin Rita Lestari (TTN), and Director of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi with the initials FK. He also explained the two individuals who have been detained are Dewanggara and Titin. They are being held for an initial 20-day period, from 10 to 29 June 2026, at the State Detention Centre branch at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building. “For EDS, we did not detain him because he is already in detention for a previous case. CRH is also already detained for a prior case,” he said. Regarding suspect FK, the KPK plans to detain him at a later opportunity. “FK has been named a suspect based on an internal case review. We will follow up on this in the subsequent investigation process,” he stated. Previously, the KPK arrested 10 people in a sting operation on 7-8 June 2026. Five were arrested in Jakarta and another five in South Sumatra. In the KPK’s 12th sting operation throughout 2026, Muara Enim Regent Edison was among those arrested. On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in a suspected bribery case related to the procurement of goods and services and other gratuities within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The four suspects were Edison, Secretary of the Muara Enim Education and Culture Agency Abi Nurwardani, marketing employee of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Cory Erin Hardi, and Adi Triyadi, who is Edison’s nephew. The KPK then conducted a follow-up sting operation on 10 June 2026 and arrested five state civil apparatus from the BPK RI. This operation was the 13th sting operation conducted by the KPK throughout 2026. He explained the follow-up operation, the 13th carried out by the KPK in 2026, is connected to alleged bribery from Muara Enim Regency Government officials to individuals within the BPK RI.
