“Regarding corruption risk mitigation that may require our joint attention, it involves government programs related to MBG and Red and White Cooperatives,” KPK Deputy Chairman Agus Joko Pramono said at the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform office here on Tuesday.

He made the remarks after attending a meeting of the National Corruption Prevention Team (Timnas PK) at the ministry’s office.

He emphasized that the mitigation focuses on the implementation of policies, not on the policies themselves.

“We are not addressing the policies already established in the use of state budgets for MBG and Red and White Cooperatives. We will not assess the policies, but how these policies are implemented,” he explained.

He explained that KPK’s corruption risk assessments is aimed to ensure control systems work effectively and identify potential gaps for corruption in program implementation.

“We want to support the government in terms of control through the risk corruption assessment that we will conduct,” he added.

KPK’s monitoring results will also be periodically shared with the public, serving as a bridge to involve citizens in overseeing the MBG and Red and White Co-ops programs.

“This allows us to mitigate risks and inform the public about the control systems that are already in place and which aspects still need improvement. This process is ongoing and will become a program,” he said.

Timnas PK is a collaboration of five institutions: KPK, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Ministry of National Development Planning, and the Presidential Staff Office.
