KPK Investigates CSR Fund Repository from Extortion in Madiun Mayor Case

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined Salwa (SW), a staff member of Rochim Rudiyanto, the trusted aide to the suspended Mayor of Madiun, Maidi. KPK is investigating the collection of CSR funds related to the alleged extortion case implicating Maidi as a suspect. “Witness SW, who is a staff member of RR, the trusted aide to the Mayor of MD. In this examination, details are being probed regarding the collection of several CSR funds,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Tuesday (21/4/2026). KPK is also investigating the execution of CSR projects in Madiun. However, he has not yet elaborated on which projects are meant. “As well as regarding the execution of CSR projects,” he stated. Previously, KPK designated Maidi as a suspect for alleged extortion and gratification. Maidi is suspected of demanding fees from business permits in Madiun. KPK seized Rp550 million in cash in this case. The suspects in this case are: 1. Mayor of Madiun, Maidi; 2. Head of the Madiun City Public Works Department, Thariq Megah; 3. Private party, Rochim Rudiyanto.
