KPK Investigates Communications Between Sudewo and Pati DPRD During Impeachment Proceedings
The KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) has questioned a number of witnesses in the case of extortion related to the appointment of village officials, allegedly committed by the acting Regent of Pati, Sudewo. The KPK questioned Ali Basrudin, a member of the Pati Regency DPRD (Regional People’s Representative Council), to investigate the conversations between Sudewo (SDW) and members of the DPRD during discussions about impeachment.
“Furthermore, from the DPRD, some individuals were also questioned to delve into the conversations or communications that took place between Mr. SDW and members of the DPRD, specifically regarding the impeachment plan or issue that was circulating at the time,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK building in Jakarta, Tuesday (24/2/2026).
The KPK also questioned witnesses from the Pati KPU (General Election Commission) and the acting Regent of Pati, Risma Ardhi Chandra. The KPK is investigating the role of the ‘Team 8’ formed by Sudewo in the extortion case.
“Furthermore, investigators questioned individuals from the KPU and the acting Regent of Pati to investigate the roles of this ‘Team 8’ in the regional head elections at that time,” he said.
“In addition, the witnesses questioned today were also investigated regarding the planning and budgeting for the prospective village officials who will be selected or elected in the March 2026 elections,” he added.
The following is a list of witnesses questioned by the KPK:
Riyoso, former Acting Regional Secretary and former Head of the PUPR (Public Works and Spatial Planning) Department of Pati Regency.
Ali Basrudin, member of the Pati Regency DPRD.
P. Supriyanto, Chairman of the Pati Regency KPU.
Sugiyono, Head of the Kominfo (Communication and Information) Department of Pati Regency.
Teguh Widyatmoko, Regional Secretary of Pati Regency.
Tri Hariyama, Head of the Permades (Village Administration) Department of Pati Regency.
Siti Noor Aini, also known as Nunung, a civil servant in the Permades Department of Pati Regency.
Sutikno, Head of the PBJ (General Administration) Section of Pati Regency.
Suhardi, Head of Baleadi Village.
Imam Sholikin, Head of Gadu Village, Gunungwungkal District, Pati Regency.
Subur Prabowo, Chairman of the Artha Bahana Syariah Cooperative/KSPPS.
Acting Regent of Pati, Risma Ardhi Chandra.
In this case, the KPK has named four suspects, one of whom is the Regent of Pati, Sudewo. The KPK suspects that Sudewo charged prospective village officials between Rp 125-150 million.
This fee was then increased by his subordinates to Rp 165-225 million for each prospective village official. The KPK has confiscated a total of Rp 2.6 billion in connection with this case.
Sudewo also formed a team called ‘Team 8’. This team consisted of Sudewo’s campaign team.

Sudewo, as Regent of Pati for the period 2025-2030.
Abdul Suyono, as Head of Karangrowo Village, Jakenan District.
Sumarjiono, as Head of Arumanis Village, Jaken District.
Karjan, as Head of Sukorukun Village, Jaken District.
