The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating alleged audit manipulation in the Muara Enim Regency Government, South Sumatra, after questioning BPK member Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi on Thursday (16/7). Bobby was examined as a witness to complete the case file of suspect and Muara Enim Regent for the 2025-2030 period, Edison, and others. KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that investigators delved into the witness’s knowledge regarding the suspected manipulation of audit findings by the BPK in Muara Enim Regency, which subsequently influenced the change of the audit opinion from Qualified (WDP) to Unqualified (WTP) for the local government. The examination also aimed to strengthen evidence previously obtained, including electronic evidence seized from Bobby’s residence in Cipete, South Jakarta. Budi added that Bobby was also questioned about his relationship with suspect Augusz Dewanggara alias Angga, with investigators confirming how a private party could have access or control in the alleged manipulation of the audit examination by the BPK for the Muara Enim region. The examinations were conducted separately. Other witnesses questioned included Bobby’s expert staff member Tuning Rahayu, Director General of State Financial Audit V Widhi Widayat, Head of Sub-Directorate of Audit I.C.2 Ahdony Asfiansyah, and Head of the AKN V Secretariat Wahyu Tri Handoko. During the investigation, the KPK searched the BPK office in South Sumatra, seizing documents related to audit working papers, changes from WDP to WTP findings specifically for the Muara Enim Regency Government, documents concerning efforts to alter findings after a KPK sting operation, and indications of intervention from the central BPK to change the audit results. The KPK has named five suspects and detained them, including Regent Edison and two individuals from PT Millenium Solusi Abadi as alleged bribe givers, and BPK civil servant Titin Rita Lestari along with private party Augusz Dewanggara as alleged recipients.
