JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of money demands and acceptance related to the issuance of K3 (Occupational Safety and Health) certificates from private entities to individuals within the Ministry of Manpower.

The KPK is investigating this matter by questioning four witnesses related to the alleged extortion case in the processing of K3 certification at the Ministry of Manpower on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

“Today’s questioning is about the witnesses’ knowledge regarding the request and acceptance of a sum of money related to the issuance of K3 Certificates,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a statement on Thursday.

The witnesses include Fitriana Bani Gunaharti, Sub-Coordinator II of the Quality Standards Preparation Division of the K3 Institution for the period of May 2021-June 2025, Gunawan Wibiksana, a civil servant at the Ministry of Manpower, and the head of the Indo Dollar Money Changer in Tebet.

The KPK has named three new suspects in the extortion case related to the processing of K3 (Occupational Safety and Health) certificates, involving the former Deputy Minister of Manpower, Immanuel Ebenezer, also known as Noel.

KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the three suspects, namely CFH, HR, and SMS, have also been prohibited from traveling abroad.
