The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators have rescheduled the interrogation of Mr HS, a private sector employee, in relation to a customs and excise case, stated KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists on Monday (18/5/2026). Heri had been present at the KPK office since 09:04 WIB, where investigators are currently conducting the examination. The individual was directly interrogated by the investigators.

Heri had previously failed to respond to a KPK summons on 8 May 2026, prompting the KPK to urge his cooperation. “Last week, investigators scheduled a summons for Mr HB, but the individual did not attend,” said Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Merah Putih building in South Jakarta. He added that the commission generally urges all summoned witnesses to be cooperative, attend summons, and provide necessary information honestly and completely.

Regarding the corruption case involving importations at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC), the KPK initially named six suspects following a sting operation related to import bribery. The KPK seized evidence in this bribery case with a total value of Rp 45.5 billion. The seized evidence includes cash in Indonesian Rupiah amounting to Rp 1.89 billion, USD 182,900, SGD 1.48 million, and JPY 55,000; precious metals weighing 2.5 kg (equivalent to Rp 7.4 billion) and 2.8 kg (equivalent to Rp 8.3 billion); and one luxury watch valued at Rp 138 million.

Three private parties in this case have already undergone trial. These individuals are John Field, the leader of Blueray Cargo; Deddy Kurniawan Sukolo, the Operational Manager of Blueray Cargo; and Andri, the document team leader at Blueray Cargo. The three executives from PT Blueray Cargo are accused of providing SGD 61.3 billion in Singapore Dollars, along with various facilities and luxury goods worth Rp 1.8 billion. KPK prosecutors contend that the defendants’ actions violate Article 605, paragraph 1, point a, and Article 606, paragraph 1, of Law Number 1 of 2023 of the Criminal Code (KUHP).
