Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is deepening its investigation into the knowledge of the former Commissioner of PT Sempurna Global Pertama (SGP), identified by the initials HT, regarding the process of the PT Pertamina (Persero) petrol station (SPBU) digitalisation project.

The investigation involves examining HT as a witness in the probe into alleged corruption within the Pertamina petrol station digitalisation project for the 2018–2023 period.

“The witness is present. Investigators are deepening the witness’s knowledge regarding the processes involved in the digitalisation of petrol stations,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Thursday.

PT SGP is a company involved in the procurement of the automatic tank gauge (ATG) system, used for monitoring fuel volumes, within the said digitalisation project.

The KPK has previously interrogated representatives from PT SGP to further investigate the purchase of ATG systems in the project.

In this case, the KPK has named and detained three suspects on Tuesday (4/8): the former Director of Enterprise and Business Service at PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) for the 2017–2019 period, Dian Rachmawan; the former Senior General Manager of Strategic Sourcing Operation Procurement at PT Telkom for the 2012–2020 period, Weriza; and Elvizar.

Elvizar is a former employee of PT Telkom and the owner of PT Pasifik Cipta Solusi (PCS).

The KPK suspects that Dian directed Weriza to appoint PT SGP as the provider of ATG systems for the petrol station digitalisation project.

Meanwhile, regarding the procurement of electronic data capture (EDC) machines, Elvizar is alleged to have manipulated the process to ensure that PT PCS was appointed as the provider.

The KPK states that the alleged corruption in the petrol station digitalisation project has resulted in state financial losses of approximately Rp322.18 billion.

These losses consist of approximately Rp193.75 billion related to the procurement of ATG systems and approximately Rp128.42 billion related to the procurement of EDC machines.

The KPK began investigating the alleged corruption in the Pertamina petrol station digitalisation project for the 2018–2023 period in September 2024.
