KPK identifies potential new suspects in Pekalongan Regency corruption case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has stated there is potential for new suspects in the alleged corruption case regarding the procurement of goods and services within the Pekalongan Regency administration. The case involves the inactive Regent of Pekalongan, Fadia Arafiq, who was detained on 4 March 2026. During a press conference at the KPK Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Tuesday (2/6), the Acting Director of Investigations at the KPK, Achmad Taufik Husein, stated that authorities are currently tracing the assets belonging to Fadia and his family. The commission will proceed with the designation of new suspects should evidence of involvement be uncovered.
