KPK Has Examined Vinna Ledy as Part of Investigation into Bengkulu Procurement

The Corruption Eradasting Commission (KPK) has revealed that it examined Bengkulu City DPRD member, Vinna Ledy Anggraheni, on 4 and 10 August 2026.

This session was not included in the KPK’s initial examination schedule as it was a rescheduled appointment. Vinna Ledy was originally summoned on Monday, 3 August 2026, but failed to appear. The KPK did not provide specific details regarding the reason for the rescheduling.

She was questioned in her capacity as a witness to assist the investigation into alleged bribery related to the procurement of goods and services within the Rejang Lebong Regency Government and other areas in Bengkulu Province.

“The examination took place on 4 and 10 August 2026, at the KPK’s Merah Putih building,” stated KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a written statement on Wednesday (2/9). “As a member of the Bengkulu City DPRD, VLA [Vinna Ledy Anggraheni] is being questioned by investigators to deepen their knowledge regarding procurements in Bengkulu City.”

Budi added that the witness’s testimony will be reviewed, analysed, and cross-referenced with other witnesses and findings from recent searches to help investigators construct a complete case. “The examination of witnesses and search activities at several locations are part of a series of actions during the investigation stage to complete the evidence and clues related to this case,” he said.

As the investigation progresses, the KPK has already seized a luxury house in South Jakarta and one vehicle belonging to Vinna Ledy. The KPK also alleged that Vinna Ledy is suspected of receiving funds from projects managed by the Bengkulu City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR) and from private parties.

These seized assets are believed to be linked to the ongoing investigation into alleged bribery in procurement within the Rejang Lebong Regency Government and other regions in Bengkulu Province. This case is an expansion of the investigation into alleged ‘green project’ bribery (suap ijon) in Rejang Lebong Regency for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, where the Regent of Rejang Lebong, Muhammad Fikri Thobari, has been named a suspect.

Private parties involved in the Rejang Lebong Regency case are also suspected of involvement in the bribery within the Bengkulu City Government. The KPK has conducted several searches to secure evidence, including a raid on the house of the Head of the Bengkulu City PUPR Office, where investigators discovered and seized Rp4 billion in cash.

In handling the alleged corruption case in Bengkulu City, the KPK is utilising a general Investigation Order (Sprindik). Suspects will be identified and formally designated as the investigation continues.
