Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has handed over state-confiscated assets worth Rp3.88 billion to the Ministry of Public Works. Prosecutor Feby Dwiyandospensy from the KPK’s Evidence Management and Execution Unit, in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Friday, explained that the anti-corruption agency decided to transfer the confiscated assets to the Ministry of Public Works because they have been used as access routes for the Yogyakarta-Kulonprogo Toll Road. Additionally, she noted that there are confiscated assets along the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi route that have been integrated into toll road construction, thus also transferred for use to the Ministry of Public Works. She continued, “With that status, the assets cannot be auctioned at any time and must be handed over to the government through the Ministry of Public Works.” Meanwhile, she explained that the assets handed over by the KPK were previously related to a suspected money laundering case involving the Regent of South Buru for the periods 2011-2016 and 2016-2021, Tagop Sudarsono Soulisa. The assets linked to Tagop consist of three plots of land along with their buildings, all located in Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. She also explained that there are assets related to a corruption case involving the Regent of Probolinggo for the periods 2013-2018 and 2019-2024, Puput Tantriana Sari, along with the Regent of Probolinggo for the periods 2003-2008 and 2008-2013, who is also a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the periods 2014-2019 and 2019-2024, Hasan Aminudin, her husband. The assets of Puput and Hasan consist of one plot of land located in Kedungcaluk Village, Krejengan Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency, East Java Province, valued at Rp465,932,000.
