The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has extended the overseas travel ban for three civil servants of the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower for the next six months. The three individuals are Chairul Fadly Harahap, Haiyani Rumondang, and Sunardi Manampiar Sinaga. This coercive measure is related to the investigation into an alleged extortion and/or gratuity case concerning the processing of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) certificates. “It is true, the extension was carried out on 5 June 2026,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo when confirmed via written message on Thursday (25/6). In the investigation process, the KPK has scheduled the examination of six witnesses, all of whom are notaries, today. They are Bimo Seno Sanjaya, Kartika Frully, Suparno, Tuti Widyaningsih, Rudy Indra Kurniawan, and Deva Rita. “The examination is being conducted at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building,” Budi stated. Chairul Fadly Harahap, Haiyani Rumondang, and Sunardi Manampiar Sinaga have been named as suspects but have not yet been detained. The KPK has previously prosecuted 11 suspects in the alleged extortion and gratuity case related to K3 certification. These suspects include former Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer and Irvian Bobby Mahendro, a Commitment Making Officer at the Directorate General of Labour Inspection Development and Occupational Safety and Health (Ditjen Binwasnaker & K3). Others include Gerry Aditya Herwanto Putra, Coordinator for Occupational Safety Competency Testing and Evaluation for 2022-present; Subhan, Sub-Coordinator for Occupational Safety at the Directorate of K3 Development for 2020-2025; Hery Sutanto, Director of Institutional Development for 2021-February 2025; Anitasari Kusumawati, Sub-Coordinator for Partnership and Occupational Health Personnel for 2020-present; and Fahrurozi, Director General of Binwasnaker & K3 from March 2025-present. Also included are Sub-Coordinator Sekarsari Kartika Putri, Coordinator Supriadi, a representative of PT Kem Indonesia Temurila, and Miki Mahfud, also from PT Kem Indonesia. They have all been found guilty with varying sentences and are currently incarcerated at Sukamiskin Prison in Bandung, West Java.
