Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined a commitment-making official (PPK) from the Housing, Settlement Areas, and Spatial Planning Department (PRKPCK) of Lamongan Regency, and a director at PT Agung Pradana Putra as witnesses. “The examination took place at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building for MS, as PPK at the Lamongan PRKPCK Department, and AA, as Director of PT Agung Pradana Putra,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Wednesday. Budi stated that both individuals were questioned by the KPK as witnesses in the alleged corruption case concerning the construction of the Lamongan Regency government building in East Java for the fiscal years 2017–2019. Previously, on 15 September 2023, the KPK announced the initiation of an investigation into the alleged corruption in the construction of the Lamongan Regency government building in East Java for the fiscal years 2017–2019, and had named suspects whose identities could not yet be announced to the public. According to the KPK, the state financial losses in the case are estimated to reach around Rp151 billion. The anti-corruption agency then stated that it is calculating the actual amount of state financial losses together with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). On 29 January 2024, the KPK announced that it had received the state financial loss calculation report for the case from the BPKP.
