The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined Gatot Heroe Hernanda (GHH), Head of the Kediri Customs Office, as a suspect in an alleged corruption case within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise at the Ministry of Finance.
“That is correct. Today, Wednesday (26/8), investigators conducted an examination of GHH,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Budi said the KPK examined Gatot in his capacity as Head of the Customs Enforcement Sub-Directorate for the period June 2023 to February 2026.
“The examination is still ongoing. The person concerned arrived at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta at 10.13 WIB,” he said.
Among the other suspects is Rizal, Head of the Customs Regional Office for Western Sumatra, who previously served as Director of Customs Enforcement and Investigation from 2024 to January 2026.
In addition, the KPK has named Sisprian Subiaksono, Head of the Customs Enforcement and Investigation Intelligence Sub-Directorate, and Orlando Hamonangan, Head of the Customs Intelligence Section, as suspects.
The KPK has also named John Field, owner of Blueray Cargo, Andri, Head of the Import Documentation Team at Blueray Cargo, and Dedy Kurniawan, Operational Manager of Blueray Cargo, as suspects.
On 26 February 2026, the KPK named another suspect, Budiman Bayu Prasojo, Head of the Customs Intelligence Section at the Directorate of Customs Enforcement and Investigation.
In one of the investigation warrants, the KPK named a suspect whose identity has not yet been disclosed to the public.
Meanwhile, another investigation warrant remains general in nature, so no suspect has yet been named under it.
A day later, the KPK confirmed John Field’s statement that the suspect in question is Gatot Heroe Hernanda, Head of the Kediri Customs Office.
