KPK examines Head of Semen Padang Riau Office as witness
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined the Head of PT Semen Padang’s Riau office as a witness in the investigation into the alleged corruption case involving the construction of an elevated road in Riau Province.
“The examination took place at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building, involving JJ, the Head of PT Semen Padang’s Riau office,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday.
According to KPK records, witness JJ complied with the summons by arriving at 08:18 WIB.
In addition, Budi stated that the KPK had summoned a private individual with the initials MLI as a witness in the case.
Previously, on 10 January 2025, the KPK named five individuals as suspects in the alleged corruption case concerning the construction of the Simpang Jalan Tuanku Ambusai-Jalan Soekarno Hatta elevated road under the Riau Provincial Government for the 2018 fiscal year.
The suspects are YN, the Head of the Development and Bridges Division of the Riau Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, Settlements, and Land Affairs Department (PUPRPKPP), who also served as the budget user and commitment-making official, and GR, a planning consultant.
Additionally, TC, the Director of PT Semangat Hasrat Jaya; ES, the Director of PT Sumbersari Ciptamarga; and NR, the Head of PT Yodya Karya (Persero) Pekanbaru Branch.
Based on gathered information, they are Yunannaris (YN), Gusrizal (GR), Triandi Chandra (TC), Elpi Sandra (ES), and Nurbaiti (NR).
In this case, it is alleged that state financial losses of Rp60.8 billion occurred from a contract value of Rp159.3 billion.
