Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined Yuli Priyanto, Director of PT Karabha Digdaya (KD), Gunawan, Head of Business Development at PT KD, and Ferdinand Manua, Commissioner of PT Mitra Bangun Persada (MBP), as witnesses in the bribery case concerning the handling of a land dispute at Depok District Court on Wednesday (1/4/2026).

The KPK stated that during the examination, investigators delved into the orders for giving bribes to judges at Depok District Court related to the land dispute.

“Whether those involved in the giving of the money were known to which levels of management? Where did the initiatives come from? What was the chain of command? How was the giving technically carried out? These were further explored in the series of witness examinations,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in his statement on Thursday (2/4/2026).

“It will continue to be developed further, whether there are other parties who are also suspected of having important roles in the alleged bribery process in the execution of the land dispute at Depok District Court,” he said.

The KPK has named five suspects in the bribery for the execution of land clearance at Depok District Court. They are I Wayan Eka Mariarta (EKA), Chief Judge of Depok District Court; Bambang Setyawan (BBG), Deputy Chief Judge of Depok District Court; and Yohansyah Maruanaya (YOH), Court Clerk at Depok District Court.

Then, Trisnadi (TRI), President Director of PT Karabha Digdaya (KD); and Berliana Tri Kusuma (BER), Head of Corporate Legal at PT Karabha Digdaya, on Friday (6/2/2026).

The case began in 2023 when Depok District Court granted the lawsuit of PT Karabha Digdaya, a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Finance, in a land dispute covering 6,500 square metres in Tapos Subdistrict, Depok City, West Java.

Subsequently, in January 2025, PT Karabha Digdaya filed a request for execution of land clearance with Depok District Court based on that decision.

However, by February 2025, the execution had not been carried out. PT Karabha Digdaya then repeatedly submitted execution requests because the land was soon to be utilised.

“On the other hand, the community side also filed a Review Petition (PK) against the said decision in February 2025,” explained Asep.

“YOH was asked to make a secret agreement regarding a fee request of Rp 1 billion from EKA and BBG to PT KD through BER as Head of Corporate Legal at PT KD, to accelerate the handling of the execution,” he said.

Subsequently, Yohansyah and Berliana met at a restaurant in Depok to discuss setting the execution date for land clearance and the fee request to expedite the execution.
