The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined PT Catur Elang Perkasa Commissioner Oki Arisulistijanto and an employee of PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) as witnesses in a case of alleged corruption involving the management of capital investment and long-term loans at PPT Energy Trading Co., Ltd. (PPT ET). The examination took place at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta, involving ORI as Commissioner of PT Catur Elang Perkasa and MUA as an employee of PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur, KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told journalists in Jakarta on Monday. According to KPK records, Oki Arisulistijanto complied with the investigators’ summons, arriving at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building at 09:51 WIB, while the witness with the initials MUA appeared at 10:00 WIB. The KPK previously announced the commencement of the investigation into the case on 30 July 2025. The matter relates to alleged corruption in the management of capital investment and long-term loans at PPT ET during the 2015-2022 period. The anti-graft agency has named suspects in the case, but the identities of the suspects have not yet been disclosed to the public. Based on PPT ET’s official website, PT Pertamina (Persero) holds a 50 percent stake in the Indonesia-Japan joint venture. The remaining shares in PPT ET are owned by 13 Japanese companies: Toyota Motor Corporation, ENEOS Corporation, Chubu Electric Power, The Kansai Electric Power, INPEX Corporation, Cosmo Oil, Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Idemitsu Kosan, Japan Petroleum Exploration (JAPEX), Tokyo Gas, Kashima Oil, Kyushu Electric Power, and Nippon Steel Engineering.
