KPK Examines Acting Mayor of Madiun in Connection with CSR Extortion Case Involving Maidi

In the continuation of the Madiun case investigation, today investigators examined three witnesses, namely BP as the Acting Mayor of Madiun, said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Monday (11/5/2026). The other two witnesses examined by KPK investigators were Agus Mursidi (AM), Acting Head of the Transportation Department of the Madiun City Government; and Agus Tri Tjatanto (ATT) as the Head of the PUPR Technical Section of the Madiun City Government. The examinations were conducted at the KPK building in Kuningan, South Jakarta. “All three have arrived at the KPK Merah Putih building, and they are currently being examined by investigators,” he stated. Previously, KPK designated Maidi as a suspect in alleged extortion and gratification. Maidi is suspected of demanding fees from business permits in Madiun. KPK seized Rp550 million in cash in the case implicating Maidi. A total of three individuals have been designated as suspects in this case, with the following identities: 1. Mayor of Madiun, Maidi; 2. Head of the PUPR Department of Madiun City, Thariq Megah; 3. Private party, Rochim Rudiyanto.
