Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined Marjani (MJN), the aide to the inactive Riau Governor Abdul Wahid, as a suspect in the alleged extortion case within the Riau Provincial Government.

“The examination took place at the KPK’s Red and White Building under the name MJN as the Riau Governor’s aide,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Monday.

According to KPK records, Marjani arrived at the KPK’s Red and White Building at 08:16 WIB.

However, Budi did not provide further details on whether Marjani would be detained immediately on Monday or not.
