KPK Displays Seized Luxury Assets from Corruption Cases, Including Branded Bags and Cars
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has showcased a collection of luxury assets confiscated during a press event at the KPK’s confiscated goods storage facility in Jakarta on Wednesday. The items, which are set to be auctioned, include 27 motor vehicles, dozens of branded handbags, jewellery, and precious metals, all seized in connection with a corruption case at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker). During the same event, the KPK also handed over recovered state funds totalling Rp153 billion to the state-owned insurance company PT Taspen, following a corruption case involving fictitious investments at the firm.
