KPK Discovers Holding Accounts During Search of East Java BPN Regional Office
The Corruption Eradancy Commission (KPK) has seized hundreds of millions of rupiah during a search of the East Java Regional Office of the National Land Agency (BPN) in connection with an alleged bribery case involving the unblocking of Summarecon land in Bogor Regency, as well as the alleged sale of positions within the Ministry of ATR/BPN. During the search, the KPK also discovered several ATM cards used for holding funds.
“Last week, investigators conducted searches, including at the East Java BPN Regional Office, where in addition to finding a certain amount of money and jewellery, investigators also found several ATM cards,” said spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists at the KPK Red and White Building, South Jakarta, on Monday (28/9/2026).
Budi stated that these accounts are suspected to be used to collect deposits from Land Offices (Kantah) under the East Java BPN Regional Office. “The accounts were used to hold alleged deposits made by Land Offices within the East Java Regional Office environment,” he said.
“The funds collected were allegedly intended for tactical activities outside the state budget (APBN) from the DIPA of the East Java BPN Regional Office,” he added.
He noted that the KPK is currently deepening its investigation into the practices of the Land Offices, as well as deposits from external parties related to land services. “The investigators will continue to probe the collection practices being carried out, both internally—meaning the alleged deposits from Land Offices within the East Java BPN environment—and deposits provided by external parties related to land services,” he concluded.
The search of the East Java BPN Regional Office was conducted by the KPK on Thursday (24/9). Investigators carried out the search for 11 hours, seizing rupiah, documents, and gold from the location.
The KPK previously named eight suspects in the case of alleged bribery regarding the unblocking of Summarecon land in Bogor Regency. Additionally, the KPK is investigating the alleged sale of positions within the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
“Regarding other alleged receipts, both internal receipts related to rotation, promotion, or mutation of positions, it is suspected that the receipts made by certain individuals in the Ministry of ATR/BPN are also related to other land services,” explained KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo.
The list of the eight suspects in this case includes:
Lampri (LMP), Director General of Land and Spatial Control and Enforcement at ATR/BPN;

Arif Sugiyanto (ARF);
Fahd El Fouz or Fahd A Rafiq (FEZ);
