The Corruption Eradasting Commission (KPK) has detained two suspects following a follow-up sting operation (OTT) in Muara Enim, namely the Head of the Audit Team for the South Sumatra Representative Office of the Audit Board (BPK), Titin Rita Lestari, and a private individual named Augus Dwianggara.

According to reports from the KPK Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Thursday, the two suspects appeared before the public at approximately 10:10 WIB. They were seen walking from within the KPK Merah Putih Building towards the detention vehicle.

Speaking to journalists waiting for her, Titin denied receiving any money in connection with the alleged corruption case. “I did not receive any money. This is unfair. I am merely an executor,” Titin stated before entering the detention vehicle.

She emphasised that her role was strictly as an executor and not as the recipient of funds. When questioned further by journalists, she claimed that the money was received by BPK leadership, stating, “My leadership is hierarchical.”

Previously, between 7–8 June 2026, the KPK arrested 10 individuals during a sting operation. Five people were apprehended in Jakarta, and five others in South Sumatra. In this 12th sting operation conducted by the KPK throughout 2026, the Regent of Muara Enim, Edison, was among the 10 individuals secured.

On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in a case involving alleged bribes related to the procurement of goods and services, as well as other receipts within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. The four suspects are Edison, the Secretary of the Muara Enim Education and Culture Office, Abi Nurwardani; a marketing employee of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi, Cory Erin Hardi; and Adi Triyadi, who is Edison’s nephew.

On 10 June 2026, the KPK conducted a further follow-up sting operation, arresting five civil servants from the BPK RI. This operation marked the 13th sting operation conducted by the KPK throughout 2026.
