KPK detains two new suspects in 2023-2024 Hajj quota corruption case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained two new suspects as part of the ongoing investigation into alleged corruption regarding Hajj quotas during the 2023-2024 Hajj pilgrimage season. The suspects identified are Ismail Adham, the Operational Director of PT Makassar Toraja (Maktour), and Asrul Azis Taba, the Commissioner of PT Raudah Eksati and General Chairperson of the Kesthuri Association. Both individuals were seen wearing detention vests at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta following their interrogation on Monday, 8 June 2026.
