Following a series of investigations and sufficient evidence, the KPK has detained three suspects, stated the Acting Director of Investigations at the KPK, Achmad Taufik Husein, during a press conference in South Jakarta on Tuesday (2/6/2026). The three suspects will be held for the next 20 days at the KPK’s Merah Putih building detention centre, effective from 2 June until 21 June 2026.

The KPK has identified four suspects in total: Mokh Sukiman, Head of the Building and Environmental Arrangement Section at the Lamongan Housing, Residential, and Public Works Department; Ahmad Abdillah, Director of PT Agung Pradana Putra; Herman Dwi Haryanto, a former General Manager at the State-Owned Enterprise PT BA (2015–2019); and Muhammad Yanuar Marzuki, a former member of the Lamongan Regency Office construction project management committee (2017–2019) and Director of CV Absolute. While the first three suspects were detained today, Yanuar has not yet been detained due to his absence during today’s examination and will be detained at a later date.

The case originated in mid-2016, when the then-Regent of Lamongan ordered officials to proceed with the construction of the Lamongan Regency Office, leading to a project tender. However, the selection process and contract execution are alleged to have violated regulations. It is suspected that Ahmad was appointed as the executing contractor during the planning stage before the tender even began, while Sukiman allegedly received bribes.

“The irregularities occurring during the construction of the Lamongan Regency Government Office between 2017 and 2019 resulted in work volumes and quality that did not comply with the contract specifications,” Husein stated. The case has resulted in state losses amounting to Rp 35.7 billion. The suspects face charges under Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 on the Eradication of Corruption Crimes, as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code. The KPK previously noted that the calculation of state losses was finalised by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). The KPK has also conducted searches at several government offices in Lamongan as part of the ongoing investigation.
