KPK Detains Three of Four Suspects in Lamongan Regency Office Building Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained three of the four suspects in the alleged corruption case regarding the construction of the Lamongan Regency Government Building in East Java for the 2017–2019 fiscal year.
“The individuals detained today are SKM, the commitment-making official at the Lamongan Department of Public Housing, Residential Areas, and Human Settlements; ABD, the Director of PT Agung Pradana Putra; and HDH, the Regional Division III General Manager for the 2015–2019 period,” stated the Acting Director of Investigation at the KPK, Achmad Taufik Husein, at the KPK Red and White Building in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Taufik explained that the detention of the three suspects was carried out after the KPK had secured sufficient evidence. The suspects will be held for the first 20 days, from 2 June to 21 June 2026, at the KPK Red and White Building detention centre.
Meanwhile, he noted that one other suspect, MYM—who served as the Project Management Committee for the Lamongan Regency Government Building construction for the 2017–2019 fiscal year and is also the Director of CV Absolute—has not yet been detained as the individual failed to respond to the KPK summons this Tuesday.
The four suspects are charged with violating Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes, as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the old Criminal Code (KUHP).
Previously, on 15 September 2023, the KPK announced the commencement of the investigation into the alleged corruption of the Lamongan Regency Government building construction for the 2017–2019 fiscal year, identifying suspects whose identities were not initially disclosed to the public. According to the KPK, the estimated state financial losses in this case reach approximately Rp151 billion. On 8 July 2025, the KPK announced that there were four suspects in the case, and on 29 January 2026, the KPK announced it had received the state financial loss calculation report from the BPKP (Financial and Development Supervisory Agency).
