KPK Detains Suspects in Bank BJB Case, AGO Probes Free Nutritious Meal Programme

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained four of the five suspects in a corruption case concerning the procurement of advertising at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten (Bank BJB) for the 2021-2023 fiscal years. The anti-graft body is also continuing to trace the flow of funds from the case to influencer Lisa Mariana Presley Zulkandar.

In a separate development, investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office summoned 16 witnesses on Monday for questioning in a corruption investigation into the governance of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025-2026 period.

Meanwhile, the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) uncovered an alleged drug trafficking operation at the HH Club Planet 3.0 Pub & KTV in Batam, Riau Islands. In a separate initiative, the National Police is strengthening public services through its SuperApp, which now includes an emergency 110 call feature.
