KPK Detains Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro in Sting Operation

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro in a sting operation (OTT) in Pemalang Regency. Several individuals were taken to the Pemalang Police Station for questioning. Pemalang Police Chief AKBP Rendy Setia Permana confirmed that the KPK had borrowed the police station’s facilities. “It is true, last night colleagues from the KPK conducted an activity in Pemalang. The examination process is still ongoing,” Rendy said. He did not provide details on the exact number of people being examined or the specifics of the case, stating that such information would be released by the KPK.
