KPK Detains Four Suspects in Bank BJB Advertising Corruption Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained four of five suspects in an alleged corruption case involving advertising procurement at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten (Bank BJB) for the 2021–2023 fiscal years.
“Today the detentions carried out are WH as Head of the Change Management Office Division of Bank BJB, ID as Director of PT CKM (Cakrawala Kreasi Mandiri), SHD as Director of PT WSBE (Wahana Semesta Bandung Ekspres), and SJK as Commissioner of PT CKSB (Cipta Karya Sukses Bersama),” said Acting Director of Investigation at the KPK Achmad Taufik Husein at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Monday.
The four suspects are Widi Hartoto (WH), Ikin Asikin Dulmanan (ID), Suhendrik (SHD), and Elang Sophan Jaya Kusuma (SJK).
All four are being held at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building branch detention centre for the first detention period, or the first 20 days from 10 to 29 August 2026.
“So, there is information, a letter sent to investigators stating that the person concerned is unwell,” said Achmad.
For that reason, the KPK will reschedule the examination and forced detention of Yuddy Renaldi once his condition allows.
“We will immediately reschedule the next forced measures,” he said.
The KPK previously announced the naming of the five suspects on 13 March 2025.
KPK investigators estimate that the alleged corruption case involving six advertising agencies caused state losses of around Rp223 billion.
As part of the investigation, the KPK on 10 March 2025 searched the home of former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil and seized a number of items, including a motorcycle and a car.
Ridwan Kamil later complied with a KPK summons as a witness in the case on 2 December 2025.
