KPK Detains Five Suspects in Bank BJB Advertising Procurement Corruption Case

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained five suspects in a corruption case concerning the procurement of advertising goods and services at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten (Bank BJB) for the 2021-2023 fiscal years. The suspects were taken into custody after undergoing questioning at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Monday (10/8/2026).

Among those detained are Widi Hartoto, Head of the Change Management Office Division at Bank BJB and former Head of the Corporate Secretary Division for the 2020-2024 period, and Elang Sophan Jaya Kusuma, Commissioner of PT Cipta Karya Sukses Bersama. The other suspects include Ikin Asikin Dulmanan, Director of PT Cakrawala Kreasi Mandiri, and Suhendrik, Director of PT Wahana Semesta Bandung Ekspres.

The KPK stated that the alleged corruption in the procurement of goods and services for advertising at the West Java and Banten Regional Development Bank (Bank BJB) during the 2021-2023 fiscal years resulted in state losses amounting to Rp223.6 billion.
