Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained the Director of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi, Fika Nur Alawi, in the continued investigation of an alleged bribery case within the Muara Enim Regency Government, South Sumatra. “Today, investigators immediately detained the individual for the first 20 days, starting from today, 2 July, until 21 July,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Thursday. Budi explained that Fika Nur Alawi was detained as a suspected bribe giver to the non-active Regent of Muara Enim, Edison. However, he did not speak much when questioned by journalists who were waiting for him. Previously, the KPK arrested 10 people in a sting operation that took place on 7–8 June 2026. Five people were arrested in Jakarta and five others in South Sumatra. In the KPK’s 12th sting operation of 2026, Muara Enim Regent Edison was one of the parties detained. On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in the alleged bribery case related to the procurement of goods and services and other receipts within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. The KPK then conducted a follow-up sting operation on 10 June 2026 and arrested five civil servants from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK). This operation was the 13th sting operation conducted by the KPK in 2026. Subsequently, on 11 June 2026, the KPK named five suspects in the alleged bribery case related to conditioning a BPK audit of the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025 fiscal year. The five suspects are Edison, Cory Erin Hardi, Director of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Fika Nur Alawi, Augusz Dewanata, a private party who was a former expert staff member of a DPR RI member and currently serves at BPK RI, and BPK RI civil servant and former Head of the BPK Audit Team for South Sumatra Representative, Titin Lestari.
