KPK Detains Another Suspect in Muara Enim Regent Edison Bribery Case

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained another suspect in a bribery case involving a Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) official that ensnared the non-active Regent of Muara Enim, Edison. The suspect detained today is Fika, a director of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi. Fika was seen wearing an orange KPK detainee vest as she was escorted from the examination room on the second floor of the KPK’s Merah Putih building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Thursday (2/7/2026) at 18.45 WIB. Her hands were handcuffed as she was led directly to a KPK detention vehicle under officer escort. In this case, Fika was named a suspect alongside Regent Edison and three other individuals. Regent Edison and the three others were detained earlier: 1. Angga, a private party; 2. Titin Rita Lestari, a civil servant or Technical Controller; 3. Cory Erin Hardi, a marketing representative of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi. Fika, as Director of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi, is suspected of handing over money to the Muara Enim Regency Government through the Secretary of the Muara Enim Education and Culture Office, Abi Nurwardani, in an effort to ‘maintain good relations’. This money was given by Fika so that her company could continue to receive procurement projects in the Muara Enim Regency Government. The Rp 500 million from Fika was then handed over by Abi to Regent Edison. The money was subsequently used by Edison to bribe BPK officials so that the Muara Enim Regency Government would obtain an unqualified opinion (WTP). KPK Director of Investigation Achmad Taufik Husein stated that Abi prepared the requested sum of money, including funds received from Fika, a private party and Director of PT MSA, through Cory, who was a provider for the smart board procurement project within the Muara Enim Education and Culture Office. Fika is charged under Article 605 letter a and/or letter b of Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustments and/or Article 606 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustments in conjunction with Article 20 letter c of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.
