Following an investigation, KPK investigators have detained suspect MYM for an initial 20-day period, effective from 3 June to 22 June 2026, stated KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo on Wednesday (3/6/2026). Budi noted that the suspect will be held at the KPK detention centre for further interrogation.

Previously, the KPK had detained three other suspects in the corruption case involving the procurement of the Lamongan Regency office building, following their examinations on Tuesday (2/6). Acting Director of Investigations at the KPK, Achmad Taufik Husein, confirmed during a press conference in South Jakarta that the detention was based on sufficient evidence gathered during the investigation.

The KPK has identified four suspects in total:

  1. Mokh Sukiman, the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) and Head of the Building and Environmental Arrangement Section of the Lamongan Department of Public Housing, Residential Areas, and Cipta Karya.

  2. Ahmad Abdillah, Director of PT Agung Pradana Putra.

  3. Herman Dwi Haryanto, former General Manager of Regional Division III at the State-Owned Enterprise PT BA (2015–2019).

  4. Muhammad Yanuar Marzuki, former member of the Project Management Committee for the Lamongan Regency Office Building Construction (2017–2019) and Director of CV Absolute.

The case originated in mid-2016, when the then-Regent of Lamongan initiated the construction of the Regency office building and instructed officials to proceed with the plan, leading to a project tender. However, the selection of providers and the contract execution are alleged to have violated regulations. It is suspected that Ahmad was appointed as the executing contractor during the planning stage before the tender even began, while Sukiman allegedly received bribes.

Deviations during the construction of the Lamongan Regency Government Office between 2017 and 2019 resulted in work volumes and quality that did not meet the contract specifications. The case has caused state losses amounting to Rp 35.7 billion. The suspects face charges under Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 on the Eradication of Corruption Crimes, as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) ke-1 of the Criminal Code.
