KPK: Cory Gave Rp500 Million to Abi Nurwardani to Secure Future Projects

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has stated that PT Millenium Solusi Abadi (MSA) marketing employee Cory Erin Hardi gave Rp500 million to the Secretary of the Muara Enim Regency Education and Culture Office, Abi Nurwardani, in order to secure future project wins. “Behind this payment, there is a purpose and objective for the private party to maintain good relations going forward with the regional government so that they can be awarded subsequent projects,” said KPK Acting Director of Investigation Achmad Taufik Husein at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Tuesday. Additionally, Taufik said the KPK suspects Cory gave hundreds of millions of rupiah to Abi on 6 June 2026 in connection with a procurement project at the Muara Enim Regency Education and Culture Office for the 2025 fiscal year. According to him, PT Millenium Solusi Abadi is a supplier of interactive whiteboards for PT My Icon Technology (MIT), the winner of the procurement project at the Muara Enim Regency Education and Culture Office in 2025. “PT MIT secured the procurement project at the Muara Enim Education and Culture Office for the 2025 fiscal year,” he said. In the 12th sting operation conducted by the KPK in 2026, Muara Enim Regent Edison was among ten people arrested. On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in a case of alleged bribery related to the procurement of goods and services and other gratuities within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025-2026 fiscal years. The four individuals named as suspects in the bribery case are Edison, Abi Nurwardani, Cory Erin Hardi, and Adi Triyadi, Edison’s nephew.
