The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is considering taking forcible action against model and former expert staff member to House of Representatives member Heri Gunawan (Hergun), Fitri Assiddikki. This follows her failure to appear twice for questioning as a witness in the corruption case involving corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds from Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). She was originally scheduled to be questioned among a series of examinations of 10 witnesses in the case from 9 to 11 June 2026, but failed to attend. The KPK subsequently rescheduled her summons for Monday, 15 June 2026, but had not received confirmation of her attendance by the afternoon. “We will consider it (forcible measures) later. Investigators will naturally consider the witness’s level of cooperation,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo on Tuesday, 16 June 2026. Budi explained that Fitri’s testimony is needed to trace assets belonging to Heri Gunawan, who is a suspect in the case. The KPK will therefore decide whether to reschedule or issue a new summons. The list of individuals who failed to appear for questioning from 9 to 11 June includes: Heri Gunawan (HG), a member of House Commission XI; Kartini Buchari (KB), his wife; Fitri Assiddikki (FA), his former expert staff; Tia Mutia (TM), a university student; Muhammad Baden Solehudin (MBS); Ponidin (PDN); Eka Kartika (EK); Tuti Sutinah (TS); Herry Lingga (HL); and Dede Ade Standi (DAS). In this case, the KPK has named two suspects: former House Commission XI members for the 2019-2024 period, Gerindra Party politician Heri Gunawan and Nasdem Party politician Satori. Heri is suspected of receiving CSR funds and other monies totalling approximately Rp15.86 billion, while Satori allegedly received a total of Rp12.52 billion. The suspects are charged under Article 12B of the Corruption Eradication Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) subparagraph 1 and Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code, as well as money laundering charges in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 subparagraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
