KPK Confirms Summons for BPK Member Bobby Rizaldi This Week
Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed it has scheduled an examination summons for Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) member Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi this week, either on Thursday or Friday. “It is indeed scheduled for this week by investigators,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Wednesday. According to Budi, the KPK believes the former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives will comply with the summons for the investigation into the alleged bribery case involving the conditioning of BPK audit results in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. “We believe that when investigators summon Mr BB, he will be cooperative, attend, and provide the information required by investigators,” he said. “Of course, every statement from a witness aids the investigation process so that this information can shed the brightest possible light on the case being handled,” he added. He therefore asked the public to await further developments from the KPK regarding the detailed schedule for Bobby Rizaldi’s summons. “So, just wait for the schedule, friends. We will continue to update the developments of this case investigation,” he said. Previously, the KPK conducted a sting operation on 7–8 June 2026 and arrested 10 individuals, five in Jakarta and five in South Sumatra. One of those detained in the KPK’s 12th sting operation of 2026 was Muara Enim Regent Edison. The KPK then carried out a follow-up sting operation on 10 June 2026 and arrested five BPK civil servants. That operation was the KPK’s 13th sting operation of 2026. Subsequently, on 11 June 2026, the KPK named five suspects in the alleged bribery case involving the conditioning of BPK audit results for the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025 fiscal year. The suspects are Edison; Cory Erin Hardi; Director of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Fika Nur Alawi; private party Augusz Dewanggara, who allegedly served as a former staff member for Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi; and BPK civil servant Titin Rita Lestari, who previously served as Head of the BPK Audit Team for the South Sumatra Representative Office. The KPK searched Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi’s residence on 13–14 July 2026 and seized a number of electronic evidence items.
