KPK confirms naming of three Transjakarta bus stops was free of charge

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the granting of naming rights for three Transjakarta bus stops did not involve any payment. “The cooperation was free of charge,” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told reporters in Jakarta on Monday. Budi explained that the naming of the bus stops represents a form of joint commitment between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the KPK in efforts to eradicate corruption. “This cooperation is a form of joint commitment in anti-corruption efforts,” he said. The statement was made in response to the naming of the Setiabudi Integritas, Setiabudi Integritas 1, and Pusat Edukasi Antikorupsi KPK bus stops. Specifically for the Setiabudi Integritas and Setiabudi Integritas 1 stops, the KPK views the use of these names as the Jakarta provincial government’s commitment to continually remind the public of the importance of integrity in public services. “This is expected to serve as a reminder that every service received by the public must be delivered professionally, transparently, accountably, and free from abuse of authority,” Budi said. According to him, the use of the word ‘integrity’ is also part of a creatively packaged anti-corruption campaign targeting highly mobile citizens. The KPK hopes this initiative will not only be implemented in Jakarta but will also inspire other regional governments to present anti-corruption campaigns that are close to people’s daily lives. Previously, the KPK together with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government inaugurated the naming of the Setiabudi Integritas, Setiabudi Integritas 1, and Pusat Edukasi Antikorupsi KPK bus stops on 21 June 2026.
