KPK Conducts Arrest Operation in Cilacap, Regional Secretary and Several Department Heads Questioned

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted an arrest operation (OTT) in Cilacap Regency, Central Java. A number of officials from the Cilacap Regency Government (Pemkab) are currently being questioned by the KPK team.

According to detikJateng on Friday, 13 March 2026, several officials were transported by bus to Banyumas Police Headquarters. At this location, several officials underwent questioning in the Criminal Investigation Division building by the KPK team.

According to detikJateng’s observations, some officials left the interrogation room to perform the Asr prayer at Banyumas Police Headquarters mosque. They walked only in batik attire, escorted by police officers.

The officials included Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Cilacap Sadmoko Danardono, Head of Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) Buddy Haryanto, Head of Community Empowerment and Village Service (Dispermades) Heru Kurniawan, Head of Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Service (DPKUKM) Oktrivianto Subekti, and Head of Social Service (Dinsos) Dr Ichlas Riyanto.

When questioned by journalists waiting outside the building, the Cilacap Regional Secretary remained tight-lipped. As he walked, he did not answer the questions posed by journalists.

“Just follow along,” said Sadmoko when asked about his agenda at Banyumas Police Headquarters.

A total of 27 people were arrested by the KPK in the operation in Cilacap. One of those arrested was Cilacap Regent Syamsul Aulia Rahman.
