KPK Conducts Another OTT in Riau, a Regent Reportedly Targeted
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is reportedly conducting another sting operation (OTT) in the Riau Province region. The anti-corruption agency’s covert operation is said to be targeting a regional head in one of the regencies.
Based on information obtained, the operation targets not only a regent but also a Regional Secretary (Sekda).
As of Monday, 29 June 2026, KPK investigators are reportedly still in the field to carry out a series of actions as part of the operation.
Regent Reportedly Not Yet Apprehended
From the information gathered, KPK investigators have secured several parties suspected to be involved in the case. However, the regent who is the target of the operation has reportedly not yet been apprehended. The KPK team is currently still searching for the regional head.
It is not yet known exactly what case underlies the sting operation, nor which parties have been detained during the activity.
