The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced the completion of its verification and analysis of a gratification rejection report submitted by Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni. KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the process was carried out by the Directorate of Gratification and Public Services and the results have been conveyed directly to the reporting party. ‘The KPK, through the Directorate of Gratification and Public Services, has completed the verification and analysis process of the gratification receipt report submitted by the Minister of Forestry,’ Budi said at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Thursday, 16 July 2026. He explained that the analysis was completed in less than the maximum stipulated period of 30 working days, with the team finishing the task quickly and meticulously within approximately two weeks. While the results have been delivered to Minister Antoni, the KPK declined to disclose the content or conclusions of the analysis to the public. The report originated after the minister’s name surfaced in connection with a bribery case in Kuantan Singingi, Riau, which began with a sting operation by the KPK on 29 June 2026. The operation led to the arrest of 10 individuals, followed by the surrender of the Kuantan Singingi Regent Suhardiman Amby and Regional Secretary Zulkarnain. The KPK subsequently named three suspects: Suhardiman Amby, Zulkarnain, and Ardiles, the President Director of PT Mitra Ideal Consultant.
