KPK Carries Out Sting Operation at BNPB

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has carried out a sting operation at the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), detaining several people.

“Several people have been detained and are being questioned,” KPK chairman Setyo Budiyanto told reporters on Tuesday (13 October 2026).

Setyo did not identify those detained in the operation at BNPB, nor did he provide details about the investigation.

Those detained remain persons under examination. The KPK has 24 hours to announce the status of those caught in the operation.
