Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced two lots of confiscated goods in the form of mobile phones (HP) that are in default status or not paid for by the auction participants in the March 2026 period. “There are two defaults for two lots of handheld telephone items with a total value of Rp62.8 million,” said the Director of Asset Tracking, Evidence Management, and Execution of the KPK, Mungki Hadipraktikto, to journalists in Jakarta on Saturday. Therefore, he stated that the amount obtained by the KPK from the auction in March 2026 reached Rp10.922 billion, differing from the projection of Rp10.985 billion if all winning bidders could pay for their auction lots. He only mentioned that the auction value for movable goods reached Rp719 million, covering cars, motorcycles, bicycles, bags, watches, and mobile phones. “The management of seized and confiscated goods does not stop at the enforcement of law aspects but also ensures that their economic value can be returned to the state optimally. This is an important part of the KPK’s asset recovery strategy (recovery of state financial losses),” he said.
