KPK Announces Identities of Suspects in Lamongan Regency Office Corruption Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced the identities of four suspects in an alleged corruption case concerning the construction of the Lamongan Regency Government Building in East Java for the 2017–2019 fiscal year. The KPK disclosed these identities during a press briefing regarding individuals summoned for questioning at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Tuesday.
The suspects have been identified as MS, AAB, MYM, and HDH. MYM serves as the Project Management Committee for the Lamongan Regency Office construction project (2017–2019) and is also the Director of CV Absolute, while HDH is the General Manager of Regional Division III at PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) for the 2015–2019 period.
Previously, on 15 September 2023, the KPK announced the commencement of an investigation into the alleged corruption regarding the construction of the Lamongan Regency Government building for the 2017–2019 fiscal year, noting that suspects had been identified but their identities were not yet public. According to the KPK, the estimated state financial losses in this case reach approximately Rp151 billion. The anti-corruption agency stated it is currently working with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) to calculate the exact amount of state losses. On 29 January 2026, the KPK announced it had received the state loss calculation report for the case from the BPKP.
