The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced that Fitri Assiddikki, a former expert staff member to House of Representatives (DPR) member Heri Gunawan, has once again failed to appear for questioning as a witness in a case of alleged corruption related to the distribution of corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds from Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Based on witness summons data obtained by ANTARA this month, Fitri was absent from a KPK summons on 11 June 2026, which was then rescheduled to 15 June 2026. She also failed to appear on 23 June 2026.

“Yesterday was the second summons. The next steps will be considered by investigators, whether to coordinate for another schedule or to take efforts to bring her in by issuing a warrant,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Wednesday.

According to Budi, investigators are considering forcibly bringing Fitri in because her testimony is required. “We will see the investigators’ need for this witness, because in this case, apart from strengthening evidence related to the alleged misappropriation of CSR funds disbursed by Bank Indonesia and OJK, investigators are also focusing on asset tracing,” he said.

The KPK is currently investigating alleged corruption in the distribution of CSR programme funds, or the alleged corruption in the use of Bank Indonesia’s Social Programme (PSBI) and Financial Services Extension (PJK) funds for the 2020–2023 period. The case originated from an analysis report by the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK) and public complaints. The KPK then initiated a general investigation in December 2024.

KPK investigators have searched several locations believed to hold evidence related to the case. These include the Bank Indonesia building on Jalan Thamrin, Central Jakarta, which was searched on 16 December 2024, and the OJK office, which was searched on 19 December 2024. On 7 August 2025, the anti-corruption agency named Commission XI DPR members for the 2019-2024 period, Satori (ST) and Heri Gunawan (HG), as suspects in the case. Both individuals are currently serving as DPR members for the 2024-2029 period.
