KPK announces auction of 108 lots, winners to be determined on 18 June
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced it will auction 108 lots of assets seized from corruptors, with the winners to be determined on 18 June 2026, giving the public remaining time to submit bids. “For the June 2026 auction edition, there are 108 lots being auctioned from 26 cases,” said Mungki Hadipratikto, KPK Director of Asset Tracking, Evidence Management, and Execution, at the KPK State Confiscated Property Storage House (Rupbasan) in Jakarta on Friday. Mungki stated the 108 lots consist of 32 movable items and 76 immovable items, with a total value reaching Rp311 billion. The lots are being auctioned through the State Assets and Auction Service Offices (KPKNL) in Jakarta III, Tangerang I, Bekasi, Bogor, Cirebon, Denpasar, Kisaran, Medan, Purwokerto, Semarang, and Surakarta. For movable items auctioned through KPKNL Jakarta III, they will be displayed to the public at the KPK Rupbasan in Jakarta on 11 June 2026, from 10.00 to 15.00 WIB. Meanwhile, he revealed that items seized from convicted corruption case suspect and former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo are being auctioned this June. These items include four golden-coloured WTP pins consisting of one 18-carat gold pin, one 14-carat gold pin, one 13-carat gold pin, and one non-gold pin. “That is the result of our authentication from Pegadaian. We obtained the authentication on the carat and gram weight of the gold from Pegadaian,” he said. He added that assets including land, buildings, cars, and mobile phones are available for the public to bid on. For mobile phones, all data on them have been cleared by the KPK beforehand. “So, no data will remain on the electronic evidence auctioned by the KPK, as that is the procedure,” he stated. However, he noted that for iCloud-locked iPhones, the KPK was unable to unlock the device, and therefore the data has not been erased. “Except for the iCloud-locked ones, because we cannot unlock them either,” he said.
