KPK Also Arrests Summarecon President Director Adrianto Pitojo Adhi

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the President Director of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), Adrianto Pitojo Adhi, was among those caught in a sting operation (OTT) within the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) on Monday (14/9).

“That is correct,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo when contacted via written message on Tuesday (15/9).

As of the time of writing, no official statement had been obtained from Summarecon.

The KPK arrested a total of 17 people in the covert operation. Besides Adrianto Pitojo Adhi, the KPK also caught the Head of the Bogor Regency Land Office, Sontang Coin Manurung; the Head of the Tangerang City Land Office, Tardi; and the Director General of Land and Spatial Control and Enforcement at the ATR/BPN Ministry, Lampri.

Fahd El Fouz, also known as Fahd A Rafiq, and former Regent of Kebumen Arif Sugiyanto were also caught in the sting operation.

Based on information obtained by CNNIndonesia.com from within the KPK, Fahd and Arif had dealings involving the Minister of ATR/BPN, Nusron Wahid.

The sting operation related to the processing of Building Use Rights (HGB) in Bogor Regency as well as other suspected payments.

In this closed investigation, Budi explained, the team also secured items of evidence, including cash in rupiah and foreign currencies that had been wrapped and packed in boxes, cartons, or suitcases numbering around 20.

“We are still counting, and the estimated amount runs into hundreds of billions of rupiah,” Budi said on Monday (14/9) evening.

Under the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), the KPK has 24 hours to determine the legal status of those caught in the sting operation.
