KPK Alleges Fadia Arafiq Purchased Rolex Watch with Corrupt Funds
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) alleges former Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq purchased a Rolex watch using proceeds from corruption in goods and services procurement. The KPK investigated the matter while questioning INTime Senayan City Boutique Manager as a witness in the corruption case against Fadia on Monday (25 May 2026). “The witness was probed regarding the suspect’s alleged purchase of a luxury Rolex watch,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a statement on Monday.
Fadia is suspected of orchestrating a comprehensive scheme: establishing the family-owned company PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya (RNB), participating in procurement projects within Pekalongan Regency’s administration, directing subordinates to secure contracts for the company, and channeling billions of rupiah in profits back to her family circle. The KPK revealed that Fadia profited significantly from numerous goods and services procurement projects undertaken by RNB across various Pekalongan Regency government agencies.
In 2025, RNB dominated procurement projects in Pekalongan Regency, handling outsourcing services for 17 government agencies, three regional hospitals (RSUD), and one district. Further analysis shows that between 2023 and 2026, RNB received Rp46 billion in transactions from contracts with Pekalongan Regency government agencies, of which only Rp22 billion was allocated for outsourcing staff salaries.
She faces corruption charges under Article 12(i) and Article 12B of Law No. 31 of 1999 on the Eradication of Corruption, as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001, in conjunction with Article 127(1) of Law No. 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code (KUHP).
