KPK Again Questions Heri Black Over Customs and Excise Case
Customs businessman Heri Setiyono, also known as Heri Black, underwent further questioning at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as a witness in a suspected corruption case within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise on Thursday (11/6). Heri Black was examined for approximately two hours, from 10.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB. KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo explained that during this session, investigators confirmed a number of pieces of evidence obtained from searches with Heri Black. “In relation to HS, the KPK has also conducted searches in the city of Semarang, at his residence, and also at the Tanjung Emas Port, where one of the objects searched was a container filled with various vehicle spare parts,” Budi stated at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Thursday (11/6). “All of that was certainly confirmed with HS, both in today’s examination and in previous examinations,” he continued. On the same day, the KPK also examined another witness, Sri Pangestuti, a private individual. Previously, Heri Black also complied with a summons for questioning as a witness on Monday, 18 May 2026. He remained silent when asked questions by journalists at the time. The legal process aims to complete the case files for seven suspects named by the KPK in the alleged import bribery and gratuity case. The suspects are former Director of Investigation and Enforcement at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise for the 2024–January 2026 period, Rizal; Head of the Intelligence, Enforcement and Investigation Sub-Directorate, Sisprian Subiaksono; Head of the Intelligence Section, Orlando; Chairman of the Import Document Team at PT Blueray, Andri; Customs and Excise official Budiman Bayu Prasojo; PT Blueray owner John Field; and PT Blueray Operational Manager Dedy Kurniawan. The suspects have been detained at the KPK State Detention Centre. The individuals from PT Blueray are currently standing trial at the Corruption Crime Court at the Central Jakarta District Court.
